2025 Spring Conference

The Alaska Association of Student Governments is excited to announce that our Spring Conference 2025 will be held April 24-26 in Sitka, Alaska.
The conference committee at Sitka and Mt. Edgecumbe High is working hard to put on another outstanding conference. They are busy organizing guest speakers, special events and (of course) the conference dance. Jack Davis (jackd@mehs.us) and Frederique Charbonneau (charbonnneauf@sitkaschools.org) are our conference hosts. Feel free to contact them.

Please note that our community exploration which everyone at the conference will participate in on Friday, April 25th will include a one-hour boat ride on Allen Marine, and visits to the Raptor Center and Fortress of the Bear.”

Students interested in running can find the application forms on the website.
Registration:
• Registration ($130) is live.
• Regular Registration ends Monday, March 31 at 11:59 pm.
• Conference Registration Limit: 300 Delegates
• Late Registration ($150) begins Tuesday, April 1 and ends Thursday, April 17.
• Electronic Eligibility (for grades, etc) is required by Thursday, April 17.
• Substitutions after April 17 will require a $20 change fee.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations after April 17.
• Travel Scholarships are due by April 17.
• Reminder: Advisors will pay a $90 registration fee, please make sure to register advisors and delegates correctly.
** The host school will be able to register up to 20 student conference volunteers at no cost.
Conference Dates to keep in Mind
• E-board meeting on Thursday, April 24 2:00-4:00
• Registration will be from 11:00-4:00 pm on Thursday, April 24
• Opening ceremony – 6:00 pm, Thursday, April 24.
• Closing ceremony – Ending at 4:30 pm, Saturday, April 26.
