2024 Spring Conference

The Alaska Association of Student Governments is excited to announce that our Spring Conference 2024 will be held April 18-21 at Barrow High School, Utqtiagvik, Alaska.

The conference committee at Barrow High is working hard to put on another outstanding conference. They are busy organizing guest speakers, special events and (of course) the conference dance. Theresa Knapp (Theresa.Knapp@nsbsd.org) is our conference host. Feel free to contact her.

Housing

Barrow High School will have free housing at BHS for delegates and their advisors and chaperones.  The hotels and lodging we have available for purchase and booking in Utqiagvik are:

Registration

• Registration is now closed, conference is full
• Electronic Eligibility (for grades, etc) is required by Thursday, April 11.
• Substitutions after April 4 will require a $20 change fee.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations after March 21.
• Reminder: Advisors will pay a $90 registration fee and the host school will be able to register up to 20 student conference volunteers at no cost.
Travel scholarships are due by April 11, 2024.

• E-board meeting on Thursday, April 18 @ 5:30 pm.
• Opening Ceremony – 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 18.
• Closing Ceremony – 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 21.
