Spring Conference

AASG’s Spring Leadership Conference has been held in such diverse settings as Craig, Yakutat, Barrow, Bethel, and Anchorage. One of this conference’s highlights is the celebration of accomplishments of student leaders and their adult supporters. Student Council of Excellence winners have included Klawock, East Anchorage, Juneau-Douglas, and Ketchikan. Chevak students and their advisor Deanna Shiroma were present to receive their award at the Spring 2008 Conference in Juneau. Other awards were given for outstanding student leadership, community service, outstanding advisor, and supportive administrator.
