Students get lots of support from advisors of student councils all over Alaska. Advisors are the consistent conveyors of information and opportunities in AASG. When delegates participate in RSVP, Leadership Conferences, and serve on the Exec Board, advisors are there assisting and encouraging! The AASG Advisor Handbook helps advisors get answers to burning leadership questions.

The E Board initiated the RSVP program in 2007. School-wide summits conducted by students lie at the heart of RSVP. To begin, the student council gets training at an AASG Leadership Conference. Then the school Leadership Team forms, and is made up of students who are diverse, representative and willing to listen and honor student voices. EBoard leaders Matt Cook and Megan Waggoner lead the RSVP workshop at East High.
